Amplifier 142/145 Leslie Type (Currently out of stock.)

Perfect balance between Portability and Sound.

With this model equivalent in volume to the original 142/145 cabinet, that is, the smallest that was originally manufactured, we believe that the best balance is found between the portability sought today for the necessary trips, and the balanced bass and mid-bass response. , (up to 800 Hz) that physical laws keep reminding us that there is an essential minimum volume for its diffusion to be correct, and its presence to make the sound “Round” and complete in all ranges.

On this piece of furniture, different models of amplifiers can be mounted, at the request of the user's desired timbre. In this case, a tube amplifier, classic model 122, newly built in the USA, has been assembled. It can be finished in black with a rough texture, extraordinary hardness, ideal for moving, and finished in a rustic grain,

The main features:

1- Laminated birch wood, whose response as a sound box is excellent.

2- Metal handles on the lower body, to facilitate transportation.

3- Integrated wheels for easy movement.

4- Speaker, original Jensen 15 inches. Ohms 16,

5- Original Jensen V21 treble driver, faithful to the original tone, 16 Ohms.

6- Crossover designed by VCT, with crossover frequencies at 800Hz, 16 Ohm. of impedance, and 300W of power, given that the originals, with a much lower range, do not provide the entire possible spectrum with quality.

7- Original engines rebuilt, parts replaced, recovery springs, etc., which suffer wear and tear with use.

8- Rotor Drum, reproduction of the originals, for the diffusion of the sound generated by the Woofer.

9- The treble diffuser is also original Leslie.

10- Valve amplifier model 122, or 147, depending on needs, 230V. manufactured with the same scheme as at the end of the 60's, but with current materials, far superior to those used at that time.

The transformers, especially the output one, essential for achieving the original timbre, are manufactured exactly the same, and with the same specifications, as in those years.

11- Slow, Stop and Fast speeds, independent and powered with a voltage of 12V. for more safety and longer duration, by means of a pedal or half moon. 12- Audio input with 3/4 Jack (the usual one), so it can be used with any instrument that uses this type of connection.

The assembly can be carried out with any other type of amplifier, although in principle our proposal is with the Valve amplifiers 122 and 147 mentioned above, or with rebuilt transistor model 760, which provides a great original sound, and a more affordable price. .

Formal warning: It is a used instrument, from a personal collection, and in such condition it is sold, so the guarantee is excluded.
